So I'm playing neo again because I am too nostalgic and want to draw again. I was so happy to see one of my best friends on neo was still there and reconnect with her. (MIDNA YOU ARE THE BEST) Looks like I can still draw.
Also hey-o, I got into a medical school. Actually got into my TOP CHOICE school, at least of the schools I interviewed at... and at my TOP CHOICE dual degree program. Wootwoot. Moving far away from my home state was weird and expensive.
I'm about halfway through the first year. Just completed my final for the most difficult part so far (notoriously difficult among all med students) and I PASSED~!

EDIT: Nevermind, it took less than 2 weeks to quit. My entry was deleted day 5/7 of the contest because someone reported it and the art community is way too vile to try to co-exist in. PRO-TIP: don't join the r/neopets artwork chat. Haha
So I'm back, kinda. I was rejected 2 years ago by medical schools so I got a hugely demanding research job which I LOVE but it has sapped all of my energy and creativity. I'm applying for schools again and I'm in absolute agony over it so I'm on Neopets again to drown that agony.

I agree. Music helps. For some reason whenever I feel down or feel anything, Penguin Cafe Orchestra turns it into a feeling of being amazing and happy and penguinlike.
I've been trying to draw and I just feel awkward about it. I feel like nothing really looks right, even though I didn't have an initial plan/idea of how it was supposed to look. It doesn't feel like an art block, just a huge unpleasant struggle. I had a total 100% day off and spent all day doodling and nothing really turned out. I wanted to draw some people things for Christmas but I can't even draw a dog anymore. T_T
